Why Ten Percent More?

Ten Percent more is a common phrase used to make sure you don't get injured while running. You add ten percent more volume every week to make sure that you stay healthy. You dont want to go from 20 miles to 100 miles a week. You are more than likely to get injured if you jump too fast. It is also a philosophy of mine.  I love running with others and I feel that each time I run with a person I get to learn ten percent more about them. I think that in a world where there is limited conversation and limited access to others with differing view points sharing the road or trail with someone allows you to learn, grow and become a better person. Let's go for a run!
